This is the first time I have posted anything on a blog so I am a bit of a newbie. I am posting my January and February blocks. My fabric is all silks, many coming from vintage silk kimonos which I cut up. There is 14 years of silk on the outside and 14 yards of lining fabric in a kimono, only 14 inches wide. I usually overdye the lining. The fushia color fabric in my blocks was overdyed lining fabric.
